Poisonous Thin Legged Wolf Spider Dangerous | Venomous Spider

Thin legged wolf spider belongs to Lycosidae family and Arachnid class. In this class all objects have eight legs. This is the common factor among all. One difference in these objects is there are some spiders that uses first two legs as sensory organs and some of them have not this quality.  They all live mostly on earth but some of them are not living on earth they like to live in freshwater.

As they belongs to arachnid class so they have all characteristics of this class. They have a unique ability in as their eyesight. A very excellent eyesight they have. All have different nature to get their food. All have different strategies to prey any small mammals and insects.

Some of them are opportunistic they attack on their prey when they see them. Others are waiting to come close and then they attack on their prey.  Thin legged wolf spider venomous like to live separately. They don’t live in groups because they are mostly known as solitary wolf spiders. As they live alone so they hunt alone not in groups. They don’t share their prey with any one. They like to eat alone and stalk their prey alone.

As there are a lot of kinds of wolf spiders but some characteristics are same in all wolf spiders. All are having eight eyes. Four small sized eyes are on the bottom two large sized eyes are in middle and other two medium sized eyes are on the top. This is an amazing fact for this wolf spider.

They are good in sense power of touch. Because of their eyes we can find them easily. When light goes towards their eyes it reflect to their original source. Wolf spiders can be 0.4 to 1.38 inches long. In this length of thin legged wolf spider legs are not included.

They can live up to two years. According to documentation of thin legged wolf spiders is Females have more lifespan than males. As we discussed earlier their sensing power is awesome than others. They have sensing hairs by which they can sense their prey and identify their orientation against prey.

High temperature is not liked by them. Black thin legged wolf spider take them in burrow when temperature get hot. In desert high temperature season they shift themselves in burrow.
